The construction was superb—tight enough to pound in an 8-penny nail, and yet the draw was perfect—no strain, yet not too easy, which usually denotes a loose roll and burn that is too hot. This has a very toothy Camaroon wrapper, and it only took about 3 puffs before the flavor exploded.
Flavor-wise, it started off nice and warm, with dark chocolate overtones, including plumes of heady smoke, and then got stronger as it progressed. Not a Diesel-esque heavy smoke, per se, but a really good medium-strength. The tobaccos seemed really well-aged, and they are obviously well-blended. I smoked it down to a “roach-clip begging” nub. Overall, a stellar stick, lasting a good hour and 15 minutes—it took me most of the way through an episode of "Vera" on BritBox. Bonus: My wife liked the aroma, too, and she knows her cigar aromas!
Definitely recommend it.
great product
Fantastic smoke! This is the first Patriarch stick I ever burned, and I was thoroughly impressed! Had the right amounts of leather, earth, pepper/spice, and almost some sweet or chocolate notes. Now, I'm a Maduro man myself, but I really enjoyed this stick! I got it in a mystery pack, and it was my favorite out of it! Great stogie, awesome V- cut butane lighter they sent me, and will definitely have some Patriarch's in my humidor! 10 of 10 in my opinion. If I had to rate it, it would be easily in the 90s!It burned even with a fat ash! Keep up the good work brothers! Putting out these high quality sticks!
Great smoke! Got more on order!
